I know!! Can you believe it!! I can't believe this is the last week of the transfer. They go by so fast. I was just reminded that i am more than half way done.... As a missionary you have this thing to not tell people how long you have been out. Me personally I just don't want to hear it ha. I always tell people i am in the middle of my mission. Always in the middle! But i am not ha. In a few weeks it will be a year. So much has happened in that short amount of time. At times it seemed much longer than a year but it just gets faster and faster. I am so grateful I have this opportunity! There is still lots of work to be done in the OEM.
Lots of changes are happening! So exciting! This week has been awesome Mom!! We pretty much started from scratch in this area. We had a few potential people and lots of Less Actives. But all the hard work is really paying off. We had 20 lessons this week! The past 4 weeks it has been about 12 to 14. So really excited about teaching more people! We found 7 new people we will be teaching. One of my favorite miracles this week was on Wednesday night. Our dinner appointment got pushed back one hour so decided to go teaching. Both Sister Bohannon and I felt prompted to knock on a certain apartment complex. We knocked a few of the doors, none yet showed much interest. We get to the 4 door and a young woman answered. She recently had moved and has getting help from the Baptist church. We were able to teach Lesson 2 on her door step and later her friend joined in as well. They both loved it so much and it rang true to them. We left them with a prayer and set up a time to see them again. So grateful our dinner plans changed. We also had one of our investigators come to sacrament yesterday!!! So happy because it was really hard for her to get her there. Her name is Heidi and she is a single mom. She is going through a divorce and her husband is actually a member of the church. He is also meeting with some elders in his ward. She is just trying to figure things out! We are really excited that she came yesterday! Big jump!
My companion's name is Sister Bohannon. And here are some pics that you can put on my blog! O and that reminds me.. I am running low on liquid foundation. I would also like to get my companion some make up as well. She doesn't have much and not a lot of money and thought maybe to get the blue eyes eyeshadow pack for her and maybe some foundation. She has far skin. Thank you Mom! I love you so much! O and tell dad in my interview a few weeks ago President said to tell dad to write me a letter haha. I am really sad he will be leaving in July, I want him to stay until i leave ha but it will be good. Well anyway have a great week! Love you!

Good Day Sister Hancock:Well another week has gone bye. It just seems like time is going by way to fast. I'm sending this e-mail from Grandma's are internet is down and they can't come until Tuesday to see what is up. We have not had the internet since Thursday. The week that I really needed it wouldn't you know it would fail me. I am trying to be timely in filing dad's taxes for the farm and it needs to be filed by the end of the month. I was just trying to have it be done before the night before. But it might just be that because on Friday we are having a shower for Anelise and I have been helping Ashlee in tending the kids because they are trying to get things ready to paint. There house is taking shape and looks really nice. Yesterday was the first time that Hank did not want his mommy. He really wanted dad and actually cried for him to take him. So we had to take him around the block in the car. When dad took him back he cried for dad. That made dad's day. Other then that not much has happen out of the usually.Today we got a new Primay Presidency. The new president is Andrea Gibson, 1st is Camille Issacson 2nd is Nickki Blanch. The old presidency had been in there for 41/2 years. I was thinking that maybe I could be released along with them. Not thinking that is going to happen. I went to Lauren Baileys farewell today. She gave a great talk on the atonement. She took about the whole time and then her mom spoke. She just basically bore her testimony because of the time. I talked to April today and she is so excited that you and Dillion are in the same ward. Me and her think that is quite something that two little kids that have gone to grade school to high school together and hung out together are in the same mission.Well what has your week been like? Have you got any new investigators? Last Sunday we did facetime with Shae and little M. She is getting big. I wanted to see her today but guess I will have to wait till next week. I did see where you are going to get a new mission president in July. That will be sad to see President Young leave. We also talked to LouAnn Hunsaker and her husband just got home from Germany where they served. She told me to tell you Hi, and that you are doing what you should be at this time in your life. However, she said that she is not leaving a another mission for quite some time. She said that she was totally worn out. She said that if she was to pick she would say that her mission in Detroit was much better. I thought that was interesting because when they received that call she did not want to go because it was one of the most dangerous cities in the United States.Well I will get back with you next week. Hopefully I have a computer that will work. I hope that all is well in Oregon. Remind me what is your new companions name?Love you Always MOM
